Keynodex Memory documentation
Keynodex Memory is a model-agnostic MCP memory server your AI agents share: persistent memories, executable playbooks, verified claims, and one-call context packs, portable across Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, and Codex. This page is the public source of truth for setup, pricing and limits, privacy, and data handling.

Pricing and limits
Two plans, one tool surface
Free
Up to 100 active memories
The full consumer tool surface is included. When you reach the cap, the assistant tells you and links to billing. Nothing is deleted.
Pro
Unlimited memories
Removes the memory cap and includes priority support. Manage your plan at memory.keynodex.com/billing.
In chat, ask your assistant "what plan am I on?" for a read-only status report. Purchases and plan changes happen only on the website at memory.keynodex.com/billing, never in chat.
Privacy and data
How your data is handled
- Your memories are stored in an isolated per-account store. No other account can read them.
- Data is encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest at the infrastructure layer. It is not end-to-end encrypted: like most cloud products, our systems can technically access stored content to operate the service.
- Keynodex does not train models on your memories and does not sell your data.
- Your AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, or another MCP client) sees only what its tool calls return: the memories, playbooks, and claims in your own store.
- Deleting a memory in chat is a soft delete: the record is kept for history until purged.
- Full erasure of memories or your account: email [email protected]. Erasure requests are acknowledged within 3 business days and completion is targeted within 30 days.
The full notice lives in the Keynodex privacy policy. Questions or erasure requests: [email protected]. Product support: [email protected].
Frequently asked questions
01
What can my assistant see through the connector?
Only your own store. Tool calls are scoped to your account: memories, playbooks, verified claims, and account status. The assistant cannot see other accounts, and Keynodex does not train models on your memories.
02
What exactly is stored?
Three kinds of records you choose to save: memories (atomic durable facts), playbooks (repeatable procedures with run history), and claims (facts with a verification command and a staleness window). You decide what gets saved, and you can review everything from your portal at memory.keynodex.com.
03
How do I check my plan, usage, or limits in chat?
Ask your assistant directly, for example: what plan am I on and how many memories do I have left? The connector includes a read-only account status tool that reports your plan, usage against the cap, and billing link. Purchases and plan changes always happen on the website, never in chat.
04
How do I export or delete my data?
You can delete individual memories in chat or from the portal (soft delete, kept for history until purged). For full erasure of memories or your account, email [email protected]: requests are acknowledged within 3 business days with completion targeted within 30 days. Self-serve open-format export is being added to every plan.
05
Does the free plan really include the whole tool surface?
Yes. Free includes all 23 consumer tools with a cap of 100 active memories. Pro removes the cap. There are no feature-gated tools between the two plans.
06
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes, in beta, via a manual developer-mode connector setup. The walkthrough at memory.keynodex.com/connect/chatgpt covers each step, including the OpenAI data-control settings worth reviewing. Claude, Claude Code, and Codex connect directly.
07
Is Keynodex Memory the same company as PingRep or KeynodeCard?
Keynodex is the company; Keynodex Memory and PingRep are its two products. KeynodeCard was the former name of PingRep and is fully retired. Keynodex Memory is unrelated to business cards: it is an MCP memory server for AI agents, published by Keynodex at memory.keynodex.com.
